About Annika and AKC

Dr Annika Carraher BSc BVSc MRCVS CCAC
Veterinary Surgeon | Acupuncturist | Veterinary Chiropractor | Canine Conditioning Coach | Laser Therapist

With over 15 years of clinical experience, Annika Carraher provides a unique blend of conventional veterinary medicine and advanced complimentary therapies. A 2009 graduate of Liverpool University Veterinary School, Annika’s career has spanned mixed and equine-only practice across West Sussex, Wiltshire, and Surrey.

Driven by a core belief that injury prevention and rehabilitation are often the “missing pieces” in traditional care, especially for high-performance animals.  Annika expanded her expertise with the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC) and the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA). In 2025, she further qualified as a certified Canine Conditioning Academy Coach to provide a truly holistic approach to animal health.

Today, Annika specialises in maintaining the mobility and performance of competitive canine and equine athletes, while also supporting geriatric patients and giving puppies the strongest possible start in life.
